Drowning in a glass of water
Sarp Sozdinler
One afternoon opened my eyes
Mara was folding sheets
and we moved not speaking
but tasting rain
rain so clean
it was like swallowing glass
we stood shoulders to wall
mouths turned up taking silver rain
in us tasting and tasting
getting bright on the way
it slipped across our tongues
